What we collect

ReplyChef collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account via magic link login.
• Business name and context — optional fields you provide to personalize generated responses.
• Review text — the customer review text you submit for response generation. This is processed by our AI and is not stored after the response is returned.
• Usage count — the number of responses generated in the current month, used to enforce plan limits.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but never see or store your card details.

Chrome Extension

The ReplyChef Chrome extension reads text you have selected on the current page (review text) and sends it to the ReplyChef API to generate a response. The extension stores your business name, context, and preferred tone in Chrome's local sync storage. The extension does not track your browsing history, collect keystrokes, or read page content beyond the text you explicitly select.

How we use it

• To generate AI-powered responses to customer reviews.
• To track monthly usage and enforce plan limits.
• To send magic link login emails.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication provider.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — AI model provider that processes review text to generate responses.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Review text submitted for response generation is not stored after the response is returned.
